Restaurant Review: Scandic Europa

Hej Foodlovers!

Vi har varit borta ett tag men nu är vi tillbaka. Vi tog en liten paus men har varit aktiva på Google+, följ oss där för nyheter och uppdateringar. 

Nu till vårt senaste restaurangbesök som var på Scandic Europas frukostbuffé. Detta är utan tvekan en av de bästa frukostbufféerna vi varit på. 

De hade ett stort och varierat utbud och erbjöd även laktos- och glutenfria alternativ. Mycket av deras utbud var dessutom ekologiskt. Allt man kan tänka sig att hitta på ett frukostbord fanns där, t.ex. olika varianter av nybakat bröd, pålägg, espressomaskiner, äggröra, bacon, pannkakor, croissanter, flingor, frukt mm. 

Allt smakade väldigt bra och kändes fräscht. Det fanns inget som smakade dåligt om vi ska vara helt ärliga. Croissanterna och mackorna var väldigt goda. 

Servicen var utmärkt och personalen var väldigt trevliga och tillgängliga. De gick även runt och erbjöd kaffe. Lokalen var väldigt stor och fin dekorerad. Det fanns mycket utrymme och sittplatser. Stämningen var perfekt i lokalen med lugnande musik.  

En fantastisk upplevelse med riktigt bra mat!

We've been away for a while but we're back now. We took a small break but we've been active on Google+, be sure to follow us there for updates and news.

Now to our latest restaurant visit to Scandic Europa's breakfast buffet. This is without any doubt one of the best breakfast buffet we've been to. 

They had a wide range of food and diversity. They also had choices for lactose- and gluten allergist. A lot of the food was organic and anything you would think to find on a breakfast table was available. There were for example newly baked bread, cold cuts, espresso makers, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, croissants, cereal, fruits and much more. 

Everything tasted really good and was fresh. To be honest, there were nothing that tasted bad and the croissants and the breads were really good. 

The service was on point and the staff members were very kind and helpful. They even walked around and offered coffee to every table.
The restaurant was big and nicely decorated. There were a lot of space and seats available and the atmosphere was amazing with comforting music. 

An amazing experience with great food!

Restaurant Review: Steak N Cheese & Co

Hi Foodlovers! Today we bring you our first restaurant review for this year! We went for some Philly Cheesesteaks at Gothenburg. First up was the service. The service wasn´t the best, we stood first in line but still had to wait for over 10 mins to place our order. It felt like they were understaffed even though they were not. Once we placed our order, they had a station outside where you could watch your food get made, that was a nice touch. Our order: Philadelphia Steak N´Cheese (Grilled chuck steak, cheddar cheese, white cheese, fried onions, bell pepper, fresh mushrooms and sauce), Spicy fries and Sweet potato fries. Now then let´s break down the food. Both fries were good, we got a good dressing but had no idea what kind it was since we didn´t get to choose. The cheesesteak could have been tastier. It lacked spices. The meat wasn´t even seasoned which was a letdown in our opinion. The sauce in the cheesesteak didn´t improve the taste but the cheese was good. Name : Steak

Restaurant Review: Lydia's Diner

Hej    Foodlovers! Idag summerar vi vår upplevelse på Lydia's Diner . Det är en restaurang som erbjuder mat med inspiration från USA. De har ett bra utbud på deras buffé. Deras buffé bestod av en salladsbar, fyra olika pizzor, vitlöksbröd, tacos, nachos, kycklinggrytor, kycklingvingar, potatis mm. Pizzorna var väldigt goda och de bestod av kyckling-, kebab-, köttfärs- och baconpizza. Pizzorna var tjocka "Chicago Deep" style och smakade väldigt gott. Salladsbaren hade ett bra utbud av grönsaker och dressingar, det fanns även vanligt vitt bröd och tortillabröd. Vitlöksbrödet var väldig oljig och var en av besvikelsen med buffén. Det som fattades i buffén var desserten, det hade varit trevligt med åtminstone någon dessert till maten. Personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Det fanns bra med platser och man kunde äta i lugn och ro, en väldigt skön stämning. På det stora hela var maten bra, speciellt pizzorna! Namn: Lydia's Diner Pris: 89 kr Betygsä

Restaurant Review: Mr. Döner

Hi Foodlovers! Today we got a really good restaurant up for review. We went out for some pizza and found this place called Mr. Döner. The location was calm and the service was great. It wasn´t too busy when we went there. You have the option to either sit outside or upstairs in the restaurant. We ordered a kebab pizza and this might be the best one in a long while. We´ve been on the hunt for an authentic kebab pizza here in Gothenburg but it seems hard to find. They usually serve kebab as pork meat here instead of beef but this restaurant had the real thing, beef kebab. The pizza overall was excellent every bite was wonderful and this was such a delicious pizza, WOW! They didn´t skimp on the meat like most restaurant does and the sauce was top notch. The pizza was cooked to perfection and we will for sure return here.
