Restaurant Review: MAX

Hej Foodlovers!

Idag ska vi prata om maten hos MAX i Göteborg. Enligt oss är det den bästa snabbmatskedjan när det gäller hamburgare i Sverige. 

Vi beställde deras Originalmål där en hamburgare, Crispy fries och en läsk ingår. Hamburgaren består av cheddarost, tomat, sallad, rödlök, ketchup och deras originaldressing. Det går att byta ut deras Crispy fries mot grönsallad, äppelklyftor, bönsallad eller morötter. Deras Crispy fries är deras nya krispiga pommes frites som friteras med skalet på. 

Burgaren var god men kändes som den inte var gjord på plats, den var lite för ihoptryckt men annars brukar deras burgare vara riktigt goda med deras dressing. Crispy friesen var helt ok och vi bytte ut deras läsk mot en liten milkshake, vilket man också kan göra om man föredrar det. 

Deras lokal är väldigt stor och det brukar alltid finnas plats att sitta och servicen rullar på bra. 

På det stora hela blir man sällan missnöjd med sitt mål när det kommer till MAX, vilket visar på att de gör ett bra jobb!

Hi Foodlovers!

Today, we're going to review our meals at the Swedish fast food chain MAX in Gothenburg. According to us this is the best fast food chain in Sweden when it comes to burgers. 

We ordered their Original menu which comes with a burger, crispy fries and a soda. The burger consists of cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, red onion, ketchup and their original dressing (some sort of Thousand Island dressing). You have the possibility to switch out the crispy fries with a bowl of green salad, apple slices, haricot salad or carrots. Their crispy fries is a new concept of French fries where they fry the fries with the potato skin still on it. 

The burger was good but felt like they didn't make it fresh, i.e. when the order was placed. The burger was a little too squeezed together but otherwise their burgers has a good quality and goes really well together with the dressing. The crispy fries was ok and we switched out the soda with a small milkshake which you can also do. We took a vanilla and a chocolate milkshake. 

The restaurant has many places so you don't need to worry about finding seats and the service is smooth and fast. 

Overall a good food experience and you'll rarely be disappointed with your orders from MAX, which chose that they're doing a good job!

Restaurant Review: Mr. Döner

Hi Foodlovers! Today we got a really good restaurant up for review. We went out for some pizza and found this place called Mr. Döner. The location was calm and the service was great. It wasn´t too busy when we went there. You have the option to either sit outside or upstairs in the restaurant. We ordered a kebab pizza and this might be the best one in a long while. We´ve been on the hunt for an authentic kebab pizza here in Gothenburg but it seems hard to find. They usually serve kebab as pork meat here instead of beef but this restaurant had the real thing, beef kebab. The pizza overall was excellent every bite was wonderful and this was such a delicious pizza, WOW! They didn´t skimp on the meat like most restaurant does and the sauce was top notch. The pizza was cooked to perfection and we will for sure return here. Restaurant Review: Lydia's Diner

Hej    Foodlovers! Idag summerar vi vår upplevelse på Lydia's Diner . Det är en restaurang som erbjuder mat med inspiration från USA. De har ett bra utbud på deras buffé. Deras buffé bestod av en salladsbar, fyra olika pizzor, vitlöksbröd, tacos, nachos, kycklinggrytor, kycklingvingar, potatis mm. Pizzorna var väldigt goda och de bestod av kyckling-, kebab-, köttfärs- och baconpizza. Pizzorna var tjocka "Chicago Deep" style och smakade väldigt gott. Salladsbaren hade ett bra utbud av grönsaker och dressingar, det fanns även vanligt vitt bröd och tortillabröd. Vitlöksbrödet var väldig oljig och var en av besvikelsen med buffén. Det som fattades i buffén var desserten, det hade varit trevligt med åtminstone någon dessert till maten. Personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Det fanns bra med platser och man kunde äta i lugn och ro, en väldigt skön stämning. På det stora hela var maten bra, speciellt pizzorna! Namn: Lydia's Diner Pris: 89 kr Betygsä

Restaurant Review: Steak N Cheese & Co

Hi Foodlovers! Today we bring you our first restaurant review for this year! We went for some Philly Cheesesteaks at Gothenburg. First up was the service. The service wasn´t the best, we stood first in line but still had to wait for over 10 mins to place our order. It felt like they were understaffed even though they were not. Once we placed our order, they had a station outside where you could watch your food get made, that was a nice touch. Our order: Philadelphia Steak N´Cheese (Grilled chuck steak, cheddar cheese, white cheese, fried onions, bell pepper, fresh mushrooms and sauce), Spicy fries and Sweet potato fries. Now then let´s break down the food. Both fries were good, we got a good dressing but had no idea what kind it was since we didn´t get to choose. The cheesesteak could have been tastier. It lacked spices. The meat wasn´t even seasoned which was a letdown in our opinion. The sauce in the cheesesteak didn´t improve the taste but the cheese was good. Name : Steak
