Restaurant Review: NFC Fried Chicken

I slutet på förra året öppnades KFC i Lockarp. Det är den enda KFC restaurangen som finns i Sverige i nuläget. Det närmaste vi kan komma till KFC är Göteborgs NFC Fried Chicken. Det är ett litet gatukök som ligger i en centralstation.

Vi åt inte på plats pga. brist på platser, det är dessutom väldigt litet där. Vi beställde deras BigBox meny som bestod av 12 bitar (6 vingar, 3 klubbor och 3 lår), 1 pommes frites, 1 ris box, 2 drickor och dipsås (curry och sötsursås).

Kycklingen var okryddad, den var smaklös. Riset och pommes fritesen smakade inget speciellt. En riktig besvikelse. Det går absolut inte och jämföra detta med KFC, vi åt på KFC i Paris och den smakupplevelsen var på en annan nivå. Deras kyckling var ordentligt kryddade.

At the end of last year, KFC opened in Lockarp. It's the only KFC restaurant at the moment in Sweden. The closest we can come to KFC here in Gothenburg is NFC Fried Chicken. It's a small fast-food stand that's situated in a central station.

We didn't eat there because there wasn't any available seats and the restaurant is very small. We ordered their BigBox menu which consists of 12 pieces (6 wings, 3 drumsticks and 3 chicken thighs), 1 French fries, 1 rice box, 2 drinks and dip sauce.

The chicken was unseasoned, it was tasteless. The rice and French fries was nothing special, basic. A real disappointment. You can't absolutely not compare this to KFC, we've eaten KFC before in Paris and that taste experience was on a whole other level. Their chicken was well seasoned.

Restaurant Review: Lydia's Diner

Hej Foodlovers! Idag summerar vi vår upplevelse på Lydia's Diner . Det är en restaurang som erbjuder mat med inspiration från USA. De har ett bra utbud på deras buffé. Deras buffé bestod av en salladsbar, fyra olika pizzor, vitlöksbröd, tacos, nachos, kycklinggrytor, kycklingvingar, potatis mm. Pizzorna var väldigt goda och de bestod av kyckling-, kebab-, köttfärs- och baconpizza. Pizzorna var tjocka "Chicago Deep" style och smakade väldigt gott. Salladsbaren hade ett bra utbud av grönsaker och dressingar, det fanns även vanligt vitt bröd och tortillabröd. Vitlöksbrödet var väldig oljig och var en av besvikelsen med buffén. Det som fattades i buffén var desserten, det hade varit trevligt med åtminstone någon dessert till maten. Personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Det fanns bra med platser och man kunde äta i lugn och ro, en väldigt skön stämning. På det stora hela var maten bra, speciellt pizzorna! Namn: Lydia's Diner Pris: 89 kr Betygsä

Restaurant Review: Steak N Cheese & Co

Hi Foodlovers! Today we bring you our first restaurant review for this year! We went for some Philly Cheesesteaks at Gothenburg. First up was the service. The service wasn´t the best, we stood first in line but still had to wait for over 10 mins to place our order. It felt like they were understaffed even though they were not. Once we placed our order, they had a station outside where you could watch your food get made, that was a nice touch. Our order: Philadelphia Steak N´Cheese (Grilled chuck steak, cheddar cheese, white cheese, fried onions, bell pepper, fresh mushrooms and sauce), Spicy fries and Sweet potato fries. Now then let´s break down the food. Both fries were good, we got a good dressing but had no idea what kind it was since we didn´t get to choose. The cheesesteak could have been tastier. It lacked spices. The meat wasn´t even seasoned which was a letdown in our opinion. The sauce in the cheesesteak didn´t improve the taste but the cheese was good. Name : Steak

Restaurant Review: Mr. Döner

Hi Foodlovers! Today we got a really good restaurant up for review. We went out for some pizza and found this place called Mr. Döner. The location was calm and the service was great. It wasn´t too busy when we went there. You have the option to either sit outside or upstairs in the restaurant. We ordered a kebab pizza and this might be the best one in a long while. We´ve been on the hunt for an authentic kebab pizza here in Gothenburg but it seems hard to find. They usually serve kebab as pork meat here instead of beef but this restaurant had the real thing, beef kebab. The pizza overall was excellent every bite was wonderful and this was such a delicious pizza, WOW! They didn´t skimp on the meat like most restaurant does and the sauce was top notch.
